This large vein section is typical of the Wet Swine Gill antimony vein featuring a core of unaltered Stibnite and possibly other Sb sulphosalts, surrounded by a zone of yellow and brown Stibiconite and Bindheimite, in a matrix of Quartz. The vein exposure has been buried under debris from a landslide that occurred about 20 years ago and many of the specimens collected in the 1980 -90’s were broken up into micromounts in search of rarer minerals. So this is a good opportunity to obtain a large location piece.
