Individual well formed blue-green Pseudomalachite crystals to 0.5 -1mm in a Quartz matrix associated with Malachite, which is frequently overgrown by clear secondary Quartz crystals. Much of the Quartz is clear with inclusions of Fe oxide minerals, some of which may be a limonitic replacement of acicular Malachite. Overall, lots to see under a microscope. There are several samples available of similar size and quality which all came from the same large block. As far as I’m aware other finds of Pseudomalachite from here have been of poor quality microcrystalline skins so typical of most UK Pseudomalachite. The photographs are indicative of the material being sold.
