Translucent white hexagonal tabular Calcite crystals to 5mm with a flat terminal face forming a continous crust on a thin quartz matrix.  The specimens were collected from a narrow E-W fissure lined with Calcite, encountered on the Harding vein. There are several samples available of approximately the same size and quality, the photographed specimen being indicative of the rest.
