A small patch of minute Azurite crystals formed along a crack in a Tetrahedrite rich Quartz veinstone matrix.  Also present are skins of Malachite.  Helvellyn (or Wythburn) Mine is a nineteenth century lead mine situated high up the side of Helvellyn and overlooking the Thirlmere reservoir at the end of a steep climb.
